Welcome to Burrell High School's Counseling Department School Counseling Philosophy The Burrell High School counselors believe that all students are unique and have dignity, value, and the right to be treated with respect. All students have the potential to succeed in the three domains of student development: personal/social, academic, and career. To accomplish this, the comprehensive school counseling program must be data driven, aligned with the school’s mission statement, and the standards set forth by the PA Department of Education.
